I can't remember what its called when you learn how to take a lesson from one area of your life and apply it to another. I can hear my grad school professors groaning after pounding developmental theory into my head. However, I wanted to share with you a little something new and my most recent post relates to cycling, so it seems appropriate to share here.

I started another blog about what I am learning about becoming a writer. I don't know what I am doing really and I have lots to learn. But I am sharing some of the process here: The Developing Character

I think I remember now, its Piaget and schemas...maybe?

Anyway, this is what keeps me busy when I am not on my bike. Which I will soon be riding again; hopefully on another adventure with the Fuller Center!

Until then I hope your socks are getting blessed off in Christ!

Dear Friends and Family,

I have considered many times since the trip to try to put into words my appreciation for your support. This trip was incredible in many ways and so different from the other rides I have been on with the Fuller Center Bike Adventure. This ride was all about family for me.
I got to share this adventure with my Aunt Sher and Uncle Tom (pictured right) as we traveled from Seattle, WA to San Diego, CA spreading the word about The Fuller Center for Housing. The 1630 mile journey took us down the Pacific coast with many breath-taking views. One of my favorite sights had to be the Redwoods of Northern California. It is amazing to consider the works of God and how families working together can help other families, whether they are blood or bike related.
However, not being physically present on the trip does not exclude you from being a part of this family. I wouldn’t have been able to go without your prayers, encouragement and support.
Together, we raised $3,725 to help Pennsylvania families get into simple, decent homes!
Thank you for being my family and sharing in this adventure! I am humbled by this blessing of family in all its forms. I think we can safely declare together, look what God has done! Only time will tell how this blessing and the work that God is doing through this adventure will impact others. I am looking forward to seeing what that is and again so thankful for your support.

I hope your socks are getting blessed off in Christ,
